Mahesh Gupta of Hanuman Mishthan Bhandar says that Ghevar is the special sweet of Sawan in Karauli. Here Ghevar is prepared with flour, milk and ice solution. To make them, first of all the solution is beaten well. After that, after filling this solution in a bottle, this solution is poured into the molds of ghevar in a big pan.
3 varieties of Ghevar are made here only in Sawan
Mukesh Bindal, who has been making this sweet of Sawan for many years, told that Ghevar is made in Karauli only in 1 month of Sawan and continues till Raksha Bandhan. He told that 3 types of Ghevar are made in Karauli. In which ghevar is made one plain, the other made of mawa and the third made of cream.
There is a high demand for ghevar with mawa
Ghevar trader Mukesh Bindal says that in Karauli, the highest demand is for Ghevar with Mawa. Which is prepared by applying a coating of mawa on plain ghevar and adding dry fruits on it. People like it more to take it in Sogis. He says that many ghevars are sold in Karauli for the price of ₹ 150 to ₹ 400.
